The Polo Bar has been serving delicious food and drinks right outside Liverpool Street Station since 1953. Our upbeat café serves hearty fare to bankers, builders, bobbies and bloggers whenever they find themselves in need.

Whether it's first thing in the morning or last thing at night, our 24-hour licence means you can share food, coffee and cocktails at any time.

From our award-winning pancakes and proper English breakfasts to pints and cocktails we have something for everyone.

We care about our suppliers and produce; we use only the best in the business, and our chefs make every-thing from scratch in-house every day.

As always the Polo Bar is here 24/7 ready to keep your tummy feeling happy.

Dusk till dawn - yes, alcohol around the clock!

We serve alcohol 24 hours a day, but this doesn’t mean we skimp on quality. We handpick beers and spirits from East London that are great on their own, and even better with our dishes.

From pre-drinks to parties, our mixologists are on hand to guide you through our extensive cocktail menu. We’ll even let you have a go with our party pail, that means 5 litres of beer on tap, at your very own table.

The year is 1959 and my auntie Bruna and her husband Pino opened what they then called the Marco Polo Bar opposite Liverpool Street Station, a name which has stuck for over 60 years.

We have undergone a few transformations since then, but our values have always remained.

Fast forward and we are now an iconic 24-hour café and bar fuelling London with great food and drink.

I look forward to welcoming you to my little iconic café in the heart of the City which has gone from strength to strength, and I hope it will continue.
